PRODUCT I UX/UI I BRAND IDENTITY
Hardbacon is a Canadian start-up on a mission to reshape the process of investing in the stock market in the name of accessibility. The app syncs with online brokerages, analyzing its users’ portfolios and providing them with the data and tools they need to become better self-directed investors. My role as a designer and a co-founder in this project was to conduct usability research that included creating user personas, stakeholders’ and landscape analyses, wireframing, prototyping, designing user interface, and performing usability testing of the app.
My goal was to craft an aesthetically pleasing and elegant user experience for young investors while diminishing the risk that comes with investing. I also worked on building the interface of the web platform, creating various growth and marketing campaigns.
